My Honda Civic from '95 had a brake problem and I always take it with me to do it at our local Midas repair shop. I love the location, they are quick and efficient and their great staff fit into their busy schedules. They let me know what's going on with my car, but don't make an appointment to change the oil.
The guys from Midas are always helpful and don't try to rip me off because I'm a woman and I don't know anything about my car. I am confident with both the manager and the mechanic because they have a great sense of humour and respect for their customers. You took a really bad situation from a retailer and turned it into a positive here at Midas.
I appreciate all the care and service you put into my vehicle when I brought it to Midas in Monterey. Store manager Jose is great, his prices are fair and he always takes care of the needs of my car.
I personally invite you to visit this store next time your vehicle needs service or gas, as they share their location with Valero and I guarantee you will have one of the best automotive aftermarket experiences you have ever had. Shortly after, I received a call from Leon, explaining what to do and what it would cost. Speedee's had the most competitive prices so far at this location and management put the technicians into overtime to do the job I promised to do for my Honda at the end of the day. They brought my Audi from the dealership to us, came here to change the oil and gave me an extremely honest price. I shopped for a few weeks before I went to Valero for oil change and a few other things.
I complained about the waiting and working environment, but nothing was done and what my Honda needed, as it turned out, was a wheel alignment and tire rotation provided as a courtesy. Eventually, the supplier sent me the wrong rear brake knob, which caused everything to fall behind. There was some inconvenience in the parking lot where it was more comfortable outside, although a kind of staff certainly helped me through the process and the cruise.
